land of the sunset
Morocco
Morocco was the first country I wanted to visit after Jordan. I'd never even considered going there before, but I decided to challenge myself once more.
Morocco is by far the most colourful country I've visited. No matter where you go the light is beautiful, colouring the world with deep earthy tones. It was one of most difficult countries for me to photograph because it was very different from the things I normally photograph. Morocco is alive. Everywhere I went, I saw hundreds of stories waiting to be photographed. It was a challenge, but a very welcome one.
During this trip I experienced the daily life in the medina of Fes, the beautiful blue architecture of Chechaouen and the pristine nature of Akchour in the Rif Mountains. I went from one extreme to another. From the busy city life to the calm and quite in nature.
